Things to do in the Area? 

Both Saturday morning and Sunday are great for exploring the area:-) Here we've gathered some tips: 
 

The classics:

Preikestolen, the pulpit rock, is the most popular hike in the area. It is 8,2 km and takes around 2-3 hours:-) Read more here.

Flørlitrappene, the Flørli stairs, is the "world's longest wood stairs" with 4444 steps. It takes around 2-3 hours. Read more here.

Kjeragbolten is also a very popular hike, but require some more time (6 hours) than the others! Read more here. 

Other hikes in the area:

Skåpet, an easy 1-1,5 hour hike to the Skåpet-cabins, where you can sleep and even enjoy a sauna. Read more here.
 

Vikastakken, a nice hike, close to the venue. Takes around 5 hours. Read more here.

Fossjuvet have some beautiful sights! It is a harder hike, and takes around 3-4 hours. Read more here.

Other activities than hiking:

Visit Stavanger city - vist at Bøkers and børst in Fargegata, or ØST or KaffeKanna in Stavanger Øst. Try  some street food at Fortou - and maybe see the old church?

Visit jærstrendene, the beaches. Go for a walk at Solastranda, a very cold swim at Hellestøstranda or maybe surfing at Borestranda?
